Worcester MP congratulates long serving College Principal on his retirement
Robin Walker, MP, visited Worcester Sixth Form College on Friday, 31st August to thank Michael for all he has done for the College in his 10 years as Principal and to congratulate him on another year of excellent A Level results.
Michael joined the College in 1985 as a teacher of Economics and Business and, after a successful period at Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College, returned as Deputy Principal in 1998 before becoming Principal in 2008.
Michael Kitcatt, said: “My entire teaching career has been in sixth form colleges and I have no doubt that students really benefit from the specialist 16-19 environment that they offer. It has been a great privilege to be Principal of Worcester Sixth Form College for the past ten years and to have worked with such wonderful students, staff and governors. I will certainly miss this in the future, but am looking forward to new opportunities ahead.”
Mr Walker was also able to meet with Michael Kitcatt’s successor, Edward Senior, to wish him the best on his new role.
