Alex Daw raising money as part of Movember!

Well done to Alex Daw, teacher in the College’s Visual and Performing Arts department, who is taking part in Movember!

This is the third time he has participated in Movember to raise money towards men’s health issues (testicular and prostrate cancer). The charity also raises awareness of and money to support men’s mental health and suicide prevention.

Alex said: “Having worked in colleges and schools for over 15 years, and as a youth worker before that, I see first hand the impact which poor mental health has on young people and until recently these issues with young men wasn’t really talked about so having a charity which promotes the discussion of issues and support for sufferers is really important.”
