Worcester Sixth Form College students celebrate exam success!
On Thursday, 20th December, former Worcester Sixth Form College students and their families were invited to attend a Certificate Presentation Evening. This was an opportunity for students to celebrate their achievements during their time at College and to be presented with certificates.
The evening was a chance to recognise the hard work and dedication of students as the College celebrated another great year for results.
The evening began with a piano performance from Judah Wood, current student, and was followed by a performance by current student Grace Shepherd (accompanied by teacher of Music, Rowan Williams). The Principal, Ed Senior, introduced guest speaker Sara Matthews who took to the stage to present the certificates. Sara was the Project Manager for St Richard’s Hospice on the Worcester Stands Tall public art event which was particularly appropriate given the College’s successful bid on ‘Steve’ the giraffe earlier this term.
Many of the students who attended the presentation are now settled in university or employment so the evening was a good opportunity for them to catch up with other students and members of staff who they might not have otherwise seen. An enjoyable night was had by all who attended, and the College wishes all of its former students all the best for the future!
