Students reach National Final of Geological Society’s Geology Challenge

Congratulations to the team of five of our second year Geologists who convincingly won the Regional Heat of the Geological Society’s Geology Challenge, retaining our title as the West Midlands Regional Winners.

The team demonstrated incredible geological, mathematical knowledge alongside strong presentational skills. They presented an excellent talk on Life and Evolution to the other schools and academics as well as career geologists, they produced a poster on their theme of Life and flew through a tricky quiz round.

Their success means that the team have qualified for the National Finals to be held in London in March. Well done!
