Successful HE+ Consortium Event
It was great to welcome visitors from Prince Henry’s High School, Saint Augustine’s Catholic High School And Sixth Form Redditch and Pershore High School yesterday to an HE+ Event hosted by the College.
The event brought together students from across the Worcestershire HE+ Consortium, including students from the College, to experience lectures/seminars in person with an opportunity to share and discuss ideas with peers, and reflect on their academic experiences.
We are already planning for the next seminar event on 31st March and have hopes for an exciting student-lead research poster conference later in the year in June.
Nardie Hanson, the College’s HE+ Co-ordinator, said: “The opportunity to attend events like this in person is a great luxury which we have all missed. The benefit of being able to discuss and debate in a seminar format allows students to develop the skills to articulate their academic experiences and is just one of the many tools we hope to provide the students with across the HE+ programme.”
