Why Study Health?
The T Level Technical Qualification in Health (Level 3) is equivalent to three A Levels and will help you to develop a general understanding of health and science including what it is like working within the health and science sector, principles of good scientific and clinical practice and core science concepts.
You will also learn about topics specific to health, including understanding the healthcare sector, providing person-centred care, supporting health and wellbeing, further knowledge of both human anatomy and physiology and of diseases and disorders and infection prevention and control.
You will learn in the same way that a health worker would including working in teams and practical demonstrations of skills and written knowledge. There is a requirement to complete 315 hours of work experience during the two years which will teach you new skills and competences as well as learning to reflect on your strengths and areas for development.
The course is assessed externally through exams, synoptic assignments and an employer set project.
