Celebrating Gold DofE at the Palace

Congratulations to year 2 student, Faith Evans, who had a wonderful afternoon at Buckingham Palace celebrating her having achieved her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award on Friday.

There was an address by the Duke of Edinburgh and guest speakers including Clive Myrie (news presenter), Alun Wyn Jones (Wales Rugby) and Lucy Edwards (visually impaired disability rights campaigner).

Faith completed her Expedition on horseback in the Brecon Beacons last summer and spent 5 days at Dartmoor Zoo for her Residential. Well done!
