Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Expedition
Our Bronze Duke of Edinburgh students really enjoyed the experience of their recent expedition to Symonds Yat surrounding by beautiful scenery.
They were lucky enough to see a variety of wildlife including Deer and Kingfishers as well as hearing Owls and being woken up by a very loud Dawn Chorus, although a little disappointed not to see any wild Boar. They woke up to a thick frost but there were no complaints at all.
Kim Martin, the College’s D of E Co-ordinator said: “I was really impressed with the students as none of them had camped before or done anything like this and especially after the last couple of years of COVID restrictions they did fantastically. They also experienced their first smores!”
