Junior Internship visit to Worcestershire County Council

Students on the Junior Internship Programme (in association with Worcestershire Skills Partnership) visited County Hall on 8th January and were given a presentation of the County Council’s major planning and building projects, including the Southern Link Road,  Worcester Parkway and Cathedral Square. They heard a fascinating talk revealing many details and little known secrets about complex building operations involving WCC, the general public, bats and great crested newts- most of which should remain within County Hall!

They met the Planning Team and the Economic Development Officer. They discussed the roles they will be offering to students as part of the programme.
