Student highly commended by University of Liverpool
A level student Becky Sherwin has been announced as a runner up and been awarded a “highly commended” certificate in an essay competition following a series of on-line summer masterclasses in Nuclear Physics run by the University of Liverpool. Her essay was on “The Different Shapes and Sizes of Atomic Nuclei”. The university has also offered to mentor her in the next academic year. Becky is a student on the college’s Ambition Programme which aims to support and inspire able students applying for competitive universities.
