Young Enterprise Success at Spring Fair
On Saturday, 19th March, 5 of our students, attended the Young Enterprise Spring Fair on Worcester High Street, to promote and sell their company’s products. Mistycles, the College’s Young Enterprise team this year, are selling anti-fog glasses spray designed to stop glasses from steaming up.
This was their first opportunity the team have had to sell their product to members of the public. They quickly grew in confidence and successfully developed effective sales techniques.
By the end of the day, the team had sold 16 bottles making a profit and achieving one of their main business objectives.
Sue Viner, Young Enterprise Co-ordinator, said: “The sometimes-challenging journey these students have been on to get to this point has enabled them to gain valuable insights and experience of what setting up and running a real business is like. I am proud of the team for their ongoing positivity and resilience during what has been a difficult year.”
Connor Ferncombe (Managing Director), Nathan Reader (Administrator), George Farmer (Finance) are photographed with the Mayor of Worcester. Congratulations to them and other team members Zoya Zaman Bi and Alexander Oliveira-Venceslau.
